Why Terrorists mainly target Muslim countries: Khan Lala
Peshawar, March 31, 2011 (PPI): Veteran politician, former Federal Minister and central leader of Awami National Party Mohammad Afzal Khan (Khan Lala’s) has condemned the consecutive Wednesday and Thursday suicide attacks on the processions of JUI leader Maulana Fazlur Rahman saying that these attacks had further corroborated his (Khan Lala’s) view that these terrorists had neither any religion nor any political party.
In a spontaneous press statement to the Thursday blast in Charsadda he expressed solidarity with Maulana Fazlur Rahman and pointed out that these terrorists spare no body and target everyone everywhere may be mosque, hujra, bazaar, office, funeral procession, political gather or public meeting.
He regretted that it was more unfortunate that the Muslims and Muslim countries particularly pakhtoons have been targeted by the terrorists. Therefore one has to hold that these terrorists are
the enemies of every one politician or no politician irrespective of his political views and manifesto, every human being irrespective of his caste and creed and hence humanity and we must irrespective of our political affiliation, program or interest set together and look at it
as to why the very Muslim countries have been targeted and the Muslims have been the victims.
He called upon each and every citizen irrespective of his political affiliation, to set together, condemn the terrorists and join hands to search a way out for protecting our people from this menace. Khan Lala also expressed sympathies with the families of the victims of these blasts and prayed to all mighty Allah to further elevate the status of these martyrs, and award courage to the bereaved families to bear these losses with fortitude.
