Turkmenia, Ukraine discuss cooperation

ASHKHABAD, April 1 (Itar-Tass) -- Turkmenia and Ukraine discussed on
Thursday cooperation in fuel and energy complex, metallurgy, town building
and transportation.
President Gurbanguly Berdymukhamedov and Ukrainian First Deputy Prime
Minister Andrei Klyuyev agreed at a meeting the four guidelines will be
priority avenues in bilateral cooperation.
"Kiev pays major attention to continued development of multi-faceted
cooperation with Turkmenistan," Klyuyev said.
Berdymukhamedov said "Turkmenistan pays much attention to the
development of traditionally friendly relations with Ukraine that
currently receive new contents."
The government press service said the meeting focused on Ukrainian
construction of a road bridge across the Amudarya River, as well as of a
drainage tunnel in Ashkhabad, and gas compressing stations in Hazar and
Naip.
