MPs receive resumes of security ministries candidates
Baghdad (NINA) – Parliament members received Thursday resumes of candidates for the three ministries; Defense, Interior, and Planning, a source at the parliament told NINA.
“The members received resumes for Khalid Mitib Al Obeidi for MOD, Ibrahim Al Lami for the MOI, and Ali Yousif Abdul Nabi for the Planning Ministry,” the source said.
The parliament granted, during its session on January 21, 2011, confidence to incomplete government led by Nouri Al Maliki.
On February 13, 2011, eight new ministers were assigned out of nine submitted by Maliki to complete his cabinet formation which still needs to assign the security ministers and the planning Minister to complete.
Maliki is Acting Minister of 3 ministries; MOI, MOD, and National Security.
