The lists of 105 passengers on board the Ilyushin Il-62 plane of
EMERCOM of Russia also include 38 citizens of Ukraine, 5 - Belarus, 6
representatives of Tajikistan, 3 - of Uzbekistan, a citizen of Moldova, as well as 4 Bulgarians. The plane is expected to arrive at Moscow's Domodedovo airport in 5 hours.
Russian President Dmitry Medvedev said earlier that Russia should
consider the security of Russian diplomatic employees, who are staying in Libya, over probable measures of several countries after the approval of a new UN resolution on Libya. "The UN Security Council approved another resolution on Libya that closes the air space over the country and envisages probable military operations," Medvedev said at a Russian Security Council meeting. He added that Russia abstained from voting on the resolution, but the resolution was approved and "various countries will obviously take some actions in the near future." "We should discuss this problem immediately and to consider the security of our diplomatic employees staying in Libya," Medvedev said.
