Mutalq heads government delegation to discuss security breaches in Salah al-Deen
Tikrit (NINA) – A government delegation headed by Deputy Prime Minister, Saleh al-Mutlaq, held a meeting with Chairman and members of Salah al-Deen Provincial Council to discuss the reasons for security breach and circumstances of the Tuesday's attack on the Provincial Council's building.
Media source in Salah al-Deen told NINA, "Discussion covered the attack on the Provincial Council's building and means to prevent such attacks to take place again."
The source quoted Mutlaq saying in the meeting, "Terrorism seeks all good Iraqis with no exception, and this requires a serious stand based on good professional and patriotic performance by Iraqi security agencies."
The source went on saying that the Provincial Council's Chairman reviewed details of he double attack and the plan to occupy the Provincial Council's building and the assault carried out against Council members and staff members, as well as the way the building was stormed and dealing with the situation. / End.
