Japan condemns attack on Salah al-Deen Provincial Council's building


Baghdad (NINA) – Japan condemned the armed attack against the building of Salah al-Deen Provincial Council's building that resulted in the killing and wounding tens.

A statement to the press issued by Japan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs said, "Japan feels big shock and resentful toward the terrorist attack on March 29, aimed at Salah al-Deen Provincial Council's building in Tikrit that caused in many martyrs and wounded."

It pointed out that terrorism is unjustified; Japan renews its strong condemnation of such savage terrorist acts aimed with no discrimination against innocent.

The statements went on saying that Japan hopes from Iraq's government and Iraqi people to rise above their religious and ethnic disputes and exert their efforts toward realizing security stability to reconstruct the country's economy, as well as to consolidate national reconciliation, asserting that Japan will continue its positive support to such Iraqis' efforts. / End.
