Nijaifi praises reconciliation among residents of Talafar, calls to expand it to cover the whole homeland
Baghdad (NINA) – Speaker of Parliament, Usama al-Nijaifi, praised the steps realized by residents of Talafar district in achieving reconciliation among them, describing steps in this direction as being brave and historic.
During a meeting with a delegation representing tribal leaders and dignitaries of Talafar district, Nijiafi called to finalize the remaining steps toward solving all disagreements.
He added, "Residents of Talafar have always lived fraternal together and enjoy the respect of all." He stressed the necessity for overcoming the problems and turn over the page of the past.
Nijaifi pointed out that 50 million US Dollars have been allocated to reconstruct Talafar, asserting his keenness to provide all requirements and support the government's steps seeking to normalize live in Talafar.
Nijaifi called for the necessity to deal in a way to construct the country stressing that reinstating the balance is important toward secure feeling, pointing out the need for harmony and that it is everyone's responsibility to burry the past. / End.
