GENERAL TAXATION OFFICE RECEIVES 500 COMPUTERS
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ Mongolia's General taxation office (GTO) has received 500 computers in grant from Republic of Korea, according to a signed in 2011 mutual understanding memorandum between the GTOs of Mongolia and Korea.
In a ceremony to receive the aid present were among others a head of the GTO B.Battomor and a head of information and development department of the S.Korean taxation office, Chang Suk.
Within the collaboration, th sides have been exchanging the information needed, jointly running trainings and workshops, for example, a hundred staffers from the Mongolian GTO have already participated in trainings and visited S.Korea to share experiences.
A letter from the S.Korean GTO was sounded at the ceremony saying,“We hope that these computers will contribute to improving of the Mongolian GTO's technical performance and will serve as another step to elevate our ties into newer level."
In response, B.Battomor said the computers will be used "in running 'One E- window', thus helping to fully computerize the GTO."
