Metropolitan of Volokolamsk to visit Serbia Mar 31-Apr 2

BELGRADE (Itar-Tass) - Metropolitan Ilarion of Volokolamsk,
Chairmsn of the Moscow Patriarchate's Department for Foreign Church
Relations, is to visit Serbia from March 31 to April 2.
An official at the Embassy of the Russian Federation here said
Metropolitan Ilarion is to meet with Patriarch Irinei of Serbia and with
Members of the Synod of the Serbian Orthodox Church, Serbian President
Boris Tadic, Minister of Foreign Affairs Vuk Jeremic, and Belgrade Mayor
Dragan Djilas.
Metropoitan Ilarion is to visit the Church of St Sava on Vracar where
Vladimir Putin travelled during his recent visit to Serbia. Ilarion is
also to deliver a lecture at the theology department of Belgrade
University, say a requiem mass near the monument to the Russian warriors
at the Russian Cemetery in Belgrade, and officiate a divine liturgy at the
Rakovica Monastery with a lity near the tomb of Patriarch Paul of Serbia.
