RF Vice-Premier Ivanov to get acquainted with SVEPOS

STOCKHOLM (Itar-Tass) - Vice-Premier Sergei Ivanov of the
Russian Federation (RF) on Wednesday will attend a meeting of the
Russia-Sweden Supervisory Committee on Trade and Economic Cooperation.
The Vice-Premier's staff member has told Itar-Tass that the sides are
to consider plans for further cooperation in the econonomic sphere. The
agenda of the meeting also provides for a discussion of matters concerning
Sweden's participation in the RF modernization programme.
The Russian delegation includes Communications and Mass Media Minister
Igor Shchyogolev, Vneshekonombank Chairman Vladimir Dmitriyev, Rostelecom
General Director Alexander Provotorov, and officials of various
ministries and agencies.
Ivanovb is also to get acquainted with the resources of the Swedish
navigation system SVEPOS which uses GLONASS signal. The Vice-Premier is
also to visit the office of the Sos Alarm Company where the system for the
operation of the Service 112 will be introduced
