Tribal dignitary arrested in Qayarah
Mosul (NINA) – A military force arrested on Tuesday, Mar. 29, a local council member who is a tribal dignitary south of Mosul.
Security source told NINA, "A military force raided on Tuesday, Mar. 29, the house of Sheikh Fawaz al-Waqa', member of Qayara district's local council, 60 km south of Mosul.
He added that Sheikh Waqa' is a dignitary of Jobour Tribe in Niniveh province. The reason for his arrest in not known. / End.
