Nijaifi condemns bloody events in Tikrit, demands the government to determine security flaws

Baghdad (NINA) – Speaker of Parliament, Usama al-Nijaifi, condemned the bloody eventi that took place in Salah al-Deen province, in which tens of martyrs and wounded, including civilians, journalists, policemen and local official, during the attack against the Provincial Council's building.

In a statement issued on Tuesday evening, Mar. 29, by the Speaker's Office said that Nijaifi call expressed sorrow on the return of armed attacks causing the fall of more victims and called on the government to point out the security flaws and the need for treating them quickly in a professional way.

He demanded an immediate investigation into the incident to find out the causes of the failure and bring those responsible before justice. / End.
