171 Killed, wounded outcome of storming Salah-Addeen Provincial Council's building

Tikrit (NINA) – 76 Persons killed and 95 others wounded in final count of storming the Salah-Addeen Provincial Council on Tuesday, Mar. 29.

Police source told NINA that four Council members are among the killed.

Earlier on Tuesday noon gunmen in police uniform burst into Salah-Addeen Provincial Council's building taking tens of its employees hostages.

A joint police and military force stormed the building liberating the hostages and killed the gunmen; the wounded are taken to hospitals in Tikrit. / End.
