Kurdish opposition, main parties hold meeting
Erbil (NINA) – Azad Jundiyani, member of Political Bureau of Patriotic Union of Kurdistan PUK, announced that “an important meeting between the opposition (Taghier, Islamic Group, and Islamic Union) on one hand and the PUK and KDP on the other hand is due to be held in Erbil Tuesday, March 29.”
In a statement to NINA, Jundiyani said “the meeting is due to be held in Kurdish parliament HQ, present by prominent officials to reach joint formulas for political reformation in Kurdistan and respond to the demonstrators’ demands of Sulaymaniya and other cities of the region.”
