Three more people killed by firing in metropolis

KARACHI (PPI) - Three more people were killed in different firing incidents in metropolis on Friday night.

A man identified as Islam-ud-Din son of Abdul Rehman was shot dead in Orangi Town in the limits of Pirabad Police Station.

Police said that unidentified armed men fired multiple shots on Islamuddin son of Qasim near Metro Cinema in Orangi Town area. As a result he received bullet injuries and died on the spot.

The body was shifted to the Abbassi Shaheed Hospital for medico-legal formalities.

In another incident a former Union Council Nazim of UC-5 Saddar Town and activist of Muttahida Qaumi Movement was gunned down in Pan Mandi in the limits of Risala Police Station.

Police said that unidentified armed men riding a bike opened indiscriminate fire on Hanif 40 son of Qasim near his house in Pan Mandi area. As a result he received bullet injuries and died on his way to hospital.

In another incident of firing one Mohammad Hussain 30 son of Shaban Ali was shot dead in Soldier Bazar area. The bodies were shifted to the Civil Hospital Karachi for medico-legal formalities
