Electronic market affected due to power cuts, snatching of cell phones
Karachi (PPI) - Chairman, FPCCI Standing Committee on Communication and former Sindh minister Muhammad Noman Saigal has urged the Karachi Electric Supply Company to exempt big and small markets of city from load shedding so that business and trade activities could be continued without any disturbance.
Speaking at launching of noman.com at a local market in Sakhi Hassan, Noman Saigal said it has become very difficult for business community to continue their daily business and especially the shopkeepers at electronic market are worst affected, therefore, the KESC should review its load shedding strategy.
The shopkeepers on this occasion told FPCCI leader that the number of people coming to the markets has declined a lot due to prolonged power cuts. Moreover, the people now use old cell phones due to snatching incidents and this too has affected the business of new cell phones.
