Thai Cabinet nods for pay rise for state enterprise staff
BANGKOK, March 28 (TNA) - The Thai Cabinet approved on Monday a 5-per cent-salary increase for state enterprise staff, effective from April 1, 2011.
Ampon Kittiampon, Secretary-General to the Thai Cabinet, said that the approved pay rise is for local state enterprise officials whose monthly salaries are less than 50,000 baht.
Ampon noted that the decision, endorsed earlier by the State Enterprise Policy Office, complies with a Thai Cabinet previous approval of a salary increase for government officials. (TNA)
