MONGOLIAN AND CANADIAN STATISTICAL OFFICES COOPERATE

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ A vice head of the National Statistical office (NSO), G.Gerelt-Od has received the ambassador of Canada to Mongolia, Mr. Gregory Goldhawk March 25.
The sides have exchanged views on the two countries' statistical offices cooperation. Mr. Goldhawk has said that would convey to Canada's Government a request from the Mongolian side to support it in the UN Statistical commission elections. Then he said that will seek ways of assisting Mongolia in its first agricultural census scheduled this year.
He has said the Canadian Government's representative in charge of food security, B.Lantz is to arrive in Mongolia this April.
The two sides have agreed to run special meeting during this visit at the NSO.
