Defeated Keneally focused on church

AAP-March,27-Outgoing NSW Premier Kristina Keneally has spent Sunday morning in church after her party's crushing election defeat.
Stopped by reporters outside her church in Sydney's east, Ms Keneally brushed off questions as to whether she had been right to take responsibility for Saturday's rout of her ALP government.
Ms Keneally said in her concession speech on Saturday night that she took responsibility for the result and would stand down as leader of the NSW Labor Party.
Appearing cheerful the morning after, she said it was "wonderful" to be back at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church in Kensington, which has been her family's place of worship for 10 years.
"Today we had a homily about life-giving water, and this is a parish that has given the people of Australia a couple of ministers of the crown, both state and federal, a deputy prime minister and now a premier," she told reporters.
"There must be something in the water at this parish."
She declined to answer questions about politics but thanked her her fellow parishoners, saying they had been supporting her with their prayers.
Ms Keneally said she would be returning to work in her seat of Heffron and would also resume her duties at her church.
"I just found out that I am back on my spot on the liturgical roster ... they all think I have a bit more time ... I am now responsible for the children's liturgy at Easter," she said.
