Moscow to compensate partially children's tours costs

MOSCOW, March 27 (Itar-Tass) -- Moscow authorities will for the first
time compensate up to five thousand roubles to parents, who buy tours for
their children.
The option will be available for special categories of children,
Deputy Head of Family and Youth Policies Department at Moscow's government
Yulia Grimalskaya said.
"The city will cover 50 percent, but not more than five thousand
roubles, of a tour's price," she said. With this support, parents will be
able to choose for themselves, where their child will spend holidays -
either in the country or abroad.
The Moscow government hopes it will be able to support about 60,000
children, whose parents get regular subsidies for children.
The parents will have to present certain documents, proving that the
child used the tour, and the commission will transfer the compensation to
a bank account of the parent.
Moscow's city government will allocate 300 million roubles from the
municipal budget for this programme in 2011, she added.
