Parties Law will emphasize on no military wings, says MP
Baghdad (NINA) – MP from the State of Law Coalition, Shakir Al Darraji said the Parties Law shall emphasize on the peacefulness of political parties and that they should not have military wings.
“The law includes articles about the ideology and course of the parties to make sure these parties are not terroristic, do not have military wing, anti-democratic, or targeting any Iraqi people’s component, therefore, activating this law will solve many problems,” Darraji told NINA Saturday.
He went on saying “I do not expect it to be endorsed this week as the committees agreed to grant priority to a bunch of laws that affect the people’s daily life and security.”
