Strong sandstorm hits Nasiriya
Nasiriya (NINA) – The city of Nasiriya and its vicinities, Thi-Qar province, was hit on Friday afternoon, Mar. 25, with a strong sandstorm lasted for over 3 hours.
The storm caused in temperature decline and cut in power supply from large part of the city in addition to halt of activities in its commercial sector.
Heavy dark clouds and density of the dust caused in darkness to prevail over the city.
Earlier in the day, a heavy sandstorm hit Basra resulted cutting power supply and breathing problems.
