HEC teams participate in different championships
Lahore, March 25, 2011 (PPI): HEC men cricket team is playing its second 3-day match of PCB Patron Trophy Grade-II Championship at Lahore from 25.3.11. HEC Volleyball team is playing its first match of the National Volleyball Championship at WAPDA Sports complex, Lahore.
HEC team is also participating in the National Table Tennis Championship at Peshawar. Women team has won 1st round and men events are in progress. HEC Team is also participating in the National Hand Ball Silver Jubilee at Bahawalpur.
University of Central Punjab, Lahore and Superior University have been declared joint winners while Islamia University, Bahawalpur clinched third position in the Intervarsity Kabbadi Championship.
Meanwhile, 12 teams of different universities are participating in Rugby Championship, being organized by the University of Lahore.
