PRIME MINISTER RECEIVED BY LEE MYUNG-BAK

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ In frames of the official visit, Mongolia's Premier S.Batbold was received Friday by Lee Myung-bak, the President of the Republic of Korea.
The Premier has thanked the Korean President for the audience and said his official visit has been successful. He has expressed a satisfaction with expanding of the bilateral relations and cooperation in the politics, economics, culture, education, health and humanitarian spheres, emphasizing that a new opportunity has been created for the two countries to bring the ties into a new level.
Mentioning about the negotiations held with his counterpart Kim Hwang-sik, the Premier S.Batbold has said they had agreed to implement a middle-term program reflecting priorities of the cooperation, and hoped the ties and collaboration will widen further.
"The S.Korean biggest companies are interested in participating in the great construction in Mongolia. We thanked the government of Korea for increasing long-term soft loan and non-refundable aid for projects in health and in air pollution struggle. We also requested the Korean side to facilitate visa terms for mutual visits of the people," Mr. Batbold has said.
In response, the S.Korean President has appreciated the Premier's opinions and proposals, and said he will pay a special attention to them.
"Activities and investments of the biggest companies of Korea in Mongolia have a great importance in increasing jobs. I visited Mongolia in 2005 when I was a Mayor of Seoul," the President has said promising to pay a visit Mongolia as for the President.
