S.BATBOLD GIVES SPEECH AT BUSINESS FORUM IN S.KOREA

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ Paying the official visit to S.Korea, the Premier S.Batbold gave a speech at a forum of Mongolia-Korea businessmen held Thursday. He has said the bilateral relations and cooperation have been intensifying in all fields since the establishment of the diplomatic relations, noting the present level of the ties and collaboration has been influenced by the advantage of geographical location and common things in traditions and mentality.
"The Republic of Korea is the fourth largest partner of Mongolia in trade, being ranked the third by its investments to Mongolia," the Premier has stressed.
He has said Mongolia has been recognized not only in the region, but also in international arena by its speed of economic growth and capability. S.Batbold has reported that the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) of Mongolia is expected to increase by at least 15 per cent by the years 2011-2015 thanks to exploiting the strategic mineral deposits, and noted the collaboration in mineral resources and mining sector is one of the vital fields of the Mongolia-S.Korea cooperation.
He also has said the government of Mongolia is ready to back the biggest investments and progressive technologies of the South Korea, adding the government aims to boost the industry of value-added final products in order to fulfill this purpose.
"Apart of the mineral resources and industrial sectors, our countries have an opportunity to develop collaboration in the tourism, environment and other spheres. Having over 40 million heads of livestock and virgin nature, Mongolia has aims to put its resources into economic circulation," S.Batbold has said.
"As the government considers, Mongolia has a great opportunity to cooperate with the private sector of S.Korea in the technological and investment spheres," S.Batbold has said and added the government will pay a special attention to establishing an economic free zone, industrial and technological parks, developing productions and introducing the S.Korean scientific and technological researches. He has emphasized that the Mongolian side will pay an attention to strengthening of the bilateral relations with objective and mutually beneficial collaboration in economics, and promised to put efforts to regularize business meetings and talks expanding their frames and effectiveness, and to improve the business conditions and environment.
He has emphasized an importance of Mongolian and Korean businessmen's participation and collaboration in widening the bilateral trade and economic cooperation.
