PREMIER LAYS WREATH TO MEMORIAL OF KOREAN WAR
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ The Prime Minister of Mongolia S.Batbold started Thursday his official visit to the Republic of Korea by laying a wreath to the Complex of Battlers for Freedom, Independence and Justice (War Memorial of Korea). This complex is dedicated to the Korean soldiers and officers who lost their lives during the Korean War. It is a tradition to have foreign representatives and high officials pay a tribute to it.
The S.Korean side is attaching a great importance to the Premier's official visit. It has coincided with the 21st anniversary of the Mongolia-S.Korea diplomatic relations and with the opening of the Year of Mongolia in S.Korea. As for the Premier, Batbold is paying the very first official visit to this country. As a Foreign Minister in 2009, he was there with a visit.
