At least 25 killed in Myanmar quake

BANGKOK, March 25 (Itar-Tass) --At least twenty-five people were
killed in two earthquakes that hit Myanmar late on Thursday, local media
reported.
The quakes with a magnitude of 6.8 occurred close to the border with
Thailand and tremors were felt also in Bangkok.
A woman was killed by the debris of a ruined house in northern
Thailand near the epicenter.
Homes and a bridge were damaged in several villages along Myanmar's
borders with Thailand and Laos.
The Pacific Tsunami Warning Center said the quake was located too far
inland to create a destructive tsunami.
