Legislator in NA expresses Iraq’s need for granting licenses to active NGOs

Baghdad (NINA) – MP from the National Alliance, Ali Mohsin Al Timimi, expressed the need for granting lots of licenses for active NGOs in Iraq.
“despite legislating the NGOs law in the former parliament, yet, very few number of licenses were issued so far comparing to the number of NGOs active in Iraq,” Timimi told NINA.
He added “the parliamentary NGOs committee will host the NGOs Department manager, affiliated from cabinet general secretariat, Ahmed Al Attar, to discuss this issue with him because we received many complaints against him from NGOs.”
