PRESIDENT MEETS JAPANESE AMBASSADOR

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ The ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Japan to Mongolia Mr. Kidokoro Takuo was received Tuesday by the President Ts.Elbegdorj.
The ambassador has conveyed a letter of gratitude to the State Head of Mongolia from Japan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs. “We are sincerely grateful to Mongolia for sending a rescue team to Japan and rendering cash and relief assistance. The government and people of Japan are taking all possible measures to protect our people as well as foreign people in the disaster areas, deal with the places ruined, not to increase an aftermath of the accident occurred in the 1 nuclear power station of Fukushima. We will give related information to the world community including Mongolia,” the letter says and thanks again all Mongolians for giving the help.
The State Head Ts.Elbegdorj has thanked Mr. Takuo for personally sending the Mongolian relief goods to Japan, and underlined "the Mongolians were with the people of Japan in their hearts in these hard times".
The President has again expressed sympathies to His Highness Akihito, his family, the Japanese government and people, and said the efforts of the Japanese people, their endurance, high ethics and organization in overcoming the aftermath of the natural disasters have been highly appreciated by the world countries. “Mongolians are ready to help Japan in any time restore the economics. Mongolia's government and the people are ready to study proposals from the Japanese government and people and to collaborate in the matters,” the President has stressed.
In response, the ambassador thanked the President for helping Japan.
