Gas and Gas Chemistry forum opens in Novy Urengoi Wed

TYUMEN, March 23 (Itar-Tass) - The 5th Yamal Gas and Gas Chemistry
international forum, which opens in Novy Urengoi on Wednesday, is
dedicated to the newest development efforts in the oil and gas sector.
Participants in the forum are to discuss the problems of and prospects
for the development of gas and gas chemistry industry in Arctic regions,
and hold conference workshops dealing with the ecological problems of
Russia's Arctic areas, as well as geological and geophysical methods for
the development of deposits of hydrocarbon fuel.
Forum participants and guests will be able to get acquainted with the
newest developments in various branches of the gas industry, appreciated
the advantages of the use of modern techniques at a "Gas, Oil, and New
Technologies" exhibition of scientific and innovation centers of Russia.
The exhibition features new methods and equipment for geology and
geophysics, devices and facilities for the deveopmentof oil and gas
fields, drilling gear, equipment for the constructionof wells and
pipelines, the production of oil and gas, tubular products, control and
measuring instruments, specialized transport vehicles, means of
communication and telecommunications.
