ISLAMABAD, March 22, 2011 (PPI): The nation would celebrate Pakistan Day on Wednesday (today) to commemorate Lahore Resolution adopted on the very day in 1940.

This year too, the permanent feature of armed forces parade on Pakistan Day has been cancelled owing to security reasons as well as hectic engagement of troops in the North West Frontier areas of the country to fight against militant forces.
Not only in Pakistan, would the embassies also arrange special events to celebrate Pakistan Day including seminars and musical events.
Even the people of Occupied Kashmir usually celebrate Pakistan Day and stage protests demanding accession to Pakistan.
