NAT'L COMMITTEE MEETING HELD
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ The National Committee in charge of putting control over measures of the Year of Supporting Employment held Monday its second meeting. At the meeting, reports have been given by officials from the Ministries of Road, Transportation, Construction and Urban Development; Social Welfare and Labor; and Mineral Resources and Energy concerning plans for creating job places in frames of the program of new great constructions of 2011.
According to the reports, 22,944 new job places will be created in the fields of road, transportation and construction. 13,500 ones of them are needed for the construction sector. The sectors of mineral resources and energy expected to create about 13,000 job places and the social welfare and labor-4,700 job places.
After hearing the reports, the Premier has pointed out works of these sectors will be judged by their realization not by various meetings. He has obliged state officials of the all levels to make efforts to implement the goal of providing at least one person with a job place. Then he has promised to conclude their works by number of people who got job places with help of them. The Premier has underlined a tough demand might reach an effectiveness in the goal, and ordered the officials to make a big change in the working plans and to involve local representatives in the next meeting. He also has said that he wanted to hear about results of the related works not reports.
The president of the Mongolian Trade Unions (MTU) S.Ganbaatar has appreciated the governmental works of providing the people with job places, and expressed a willingness to collaborate with the cabinet.
The national committee's next meeting will run March 28.
