EXHIBITION OF OLYMPIC MEDALS TO BE MOUNTED
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ An exhibition themed "Our pride" will be mounted March 25-27 in the Fine Art Gallery to show Olympic medals and other medals of World championships, Asian championships and other big competitions won by Mongolian athletes.
Co-organized by the State Department of Physical Culture and Sports, the Mongolian National Olympic Committee, the "Center of Supporting Sports Relations" NGO and the Association of Mongolian Olympic Medalists, the exhibition has purposes to glorify the medalists, to propagandize them to youths and public, and to advertize the London 2012 Olympic Games and Olympic ideology.
This exhibition will show all medals won by Mongolians in Summer Olympic Games, World and Asian championships and international tournaments took place from 1967. By the way, Mongolians have won 19 Olympic medals (two gold, seven silver and 10 bronze) so far.
