Another 19 Belarussian officials denied EU entry
BRUSSELS, March 21 (Itar-Tass) - The European Union tightened on
Monday sanctions against Belarus, denying entry to Europe for another 19 officials close to President Alexander Lukashenko.
This was said in the final statement of the EU foreign ministerial
meeting on Belarus. The tightening of the sanctions regime is connected with an aggravation of the situation with human rights in that country, the statement said. Earlier, the EU "black list" of Belarussian officials included 158 people, the president among them.
