RUSSIAN COSMONAUTS ARE HERE
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ A delegation headed by a former cosmonaut Viktor Gorbatko--head of the Association of Mongolian Friends and Heros of the former Soviet Union (SU) and of Mongolia--arrived here Monday to participate in the 30th anniversary of the first joint space program of Mongolia and USSR.
The delegation comprises a Major-General V.A. Dzhanibekov, a former cosmonaut and Heros of the USSR and of Mongolia; Colonel V.A. Lyakhov, a vice leader of the "Soyuz-39" spacecraft and two-time Hero of the USSR; Colonel-General V.V. Kovalyonok, a leader of the "Salyut-6" space station, and other officials.
