STATE PRIZES AWARDED
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ At the decree of the President Ts.Elbegdorj, the state prizes were awarded Monday to foremost people and figures on occasion of the Day of Mongolian Soldiers and 90th anniversary of the Mongolian Armed Forces, the 30th anniversary of the first joint space program of Mongolia and USSR, and the Kazakh New Year Nauryz.
The title of Hero of Labor has been bestowed upon M.Ganzorig, a director of the Institute of Informatics and a backup cosmonaut to J.Gurragchaa for a significant contribution to founding and developing space sciences and geographical information center in Mongolia. The “Golden Soyombo” medal and the Order of Sukhbaatar have been awarded to him.
An international master of sports and judoist of the state selected team M.Bundmaa has become State Honored Sportswoman. Moreover, a soloist of the Frontier Ensemble of Songs and Dance B.Ganchimeg has become State Honored Actress; O.Sholtoi--State Honored Transport-Worker; a teacher of a school in Bayan-Olgii aimag's Nogoonnuur soum R.Agzamkhand--State Honored Teacher; and a medical doctor of Bayan-Olgii aimag's Tsengel soum D.Shagdar--State Honored Doctor.
The Order of Sukhbaatar has awarded to M.Borbaatar, the State Secretary of the Defense Ministry; and the Red Flag Order of Labor Merit--to S.Batsukh, a photographer of the MONTSAME news agency.
The Red Flag Order of Military Merit, the Order of Military Merit, the North Star Order, the Honorary Medal of Military and the Honorary Medal of Labor have been awarded to other foremost figures.
