Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ On occasion of the Day of Mongolian Soldiers, the Embassy of Mongolia in China has organized a banquet with high officials of China. Among the invited high bodies--some 200--were representatives of the Defense Ministry of China, the People's Liberation Army (PLA), 100 defense attaches of foreign embassies in China, Charge d'Affaires of Mongolia.
They were received by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to the People's Republic of China (PRC) Ts.Sukhbaatar, a Major-General M.Borbaatar, the State Secretary of Mongolia's Defense Minister; Ts.Ganbold, an advisor to the Defense Minister.
The Ambassador Ts.Sukhbaatar has congratulated the distinguished guests on the 90th anniversary of the Armed Forces of Mongolia, adding that the biggest anniversaries of Mongolian history and independence are celebrated this year.
After the reception, the Major-General M.Borbaatar granted the medals and diplomas of Mongolia's Defense Ministry to some officials of Mongolia's Embassy.

On March 19, the Embassy of Mongolia in China organized a forum of Mongolian students and pupils studying in China, in Beijing city.
A speech has been given by the Ambassador Ts.Sukhbaatar at the opening. He has underlined that some 7,000 students and pupils are studying in China, according to unofficial statistics. “This is a big figure comparing with number of students from other foreign countries,” he said.
Reports have been given on political and legal situations by Kh.Batsaikhan, an expert of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science; N.Enkhtaivan, an advisor on trade of Mongolia's Embassy; and Ya.Ganbaatar, the Consul of Mongolia in Hohhot.
