ORGANIZATIONS GIVE 500 MILLION TOGROG TO JAPAN
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ Since the natural disasters occurred in Japan, Mongolia's state organizations and entities have been continuing to help the Japanese.
On Monday, a First Deputy Premier M.Enkhbold received a MNT 509 million donation--from the "Erdenet" Mining Corporation (MNT 350 million), the 4 Thermal power station (MNT 60 million), the Mongolian Tax Administration (MNT 29 million), the State Prosecutorial Authority (MNT 26 million), the "Golomt" commercial bank (MNT 26 million), and the General Authority for Social Insurance (MNT 18 million).
As of today, the donation has mounted to MNT one billion and 750 million. The money will be granted soon to Japan's Ambassador to Mongolia. In addition, relief goods such as woolen blankets and warm clothes have been transferred to the National Emergency Management Agency. These goods will be sent to Japan in the nearest time.
