Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ Five stock trades were held at Mongolia's Stock Exchange on March 14-18. In overall, 822.5 thousand shares were sold of 61 joint-stock companies totaling MNT 4.4 billion.
Index TOP-20 was 24546.59 points decreasing 2814.21 units or 10.28% against the week earlier. The total market capitalization was set at MNT two trillion and 489.1 billion decreasing MNT 363.5 billion or 12.7%.
Shares of "Gan khiits" /74.7%/, "Ikh barilga" /47.7%/, and "UB BUK" /32.0%/ increased, but shares of "Suu" /38.6%/, "Eermel" /30.2%/, and "Darkhan nekhii" /29.2%/ decreased.
27 stocks closed higher, 30 shares declined and four shares remained unchanged. Shares of "Hermes center" /272.4 thousand/, "Khokh gan" /174.1 thousand units/ and "Sharyn gol” /162.3 thousand units/ were the most actively traded in terms of trading volume and in terms of trading value--"Sharyn gol" (MNT 3.7 billion), "Tavan tolgoi" (MNT 246.2 million), and "Shivee ovoo" (96.3 million).
