Kemerovo region invites children from Japan on vacation
KEMEROVO, March 21 (Itar-Tass) -- The Kemerovo region has volunteered to organize a vacation for children from Japan. Kemerovo Governor Aman Tuleyev has invited children from Japan on vacation to Kemerovo in his address to Japanese Ambassador to Russia Masaharu Kono.
Kuzbass is inviting a hundred children from Japan to come over on
vacation to Kemerovo any time, Tuleyev said. The little guests will be
provided with everything they like - they might not only go on excursions and entertaining shows, but also undergo a rehabilitation treatment in Kemerovo. For that purpose experienced doctors and psychologists will be invited to work with the guests who will be accommodated at the best children's recreation centers of the Kemerovo region.
Earlier, Kuzbass had already offered assistance to countries hit by quakes. In summer 2008 a group of 100 children from the Chinese
earthquake-torn province of Sichuan visited the Kemerovo region to have rest and undergo rehabilitation treatment.
