PG: Women playing important role in country’s development: Kamran Michael

LAHORE, March 21, 2011 (PPI): Punjab Minister for Minorities Affairs, Human Rights, Women Development, Finance and Planning & Development, Kamran Michael has said that women have to be encouraged to participate and work more for the progress and prosperity of the nation.

While talking to a representative delegation of women here Monday, the Minister observed that for the past few decades, a remarkable social and political awareness has been awakened particularly among women and there is a visible urge in them to strive for a better life.

Kamran Michael said that women are also very keen to contribute towards the development of their country and the nation. For this, the women of our country are making their way into the national stream of progress. He assured the women representatives of his full cooperation and utilization of available resources for solving their problems.
