Rostechnologii, Nissan continue talks on joint projects - source

MOSCOW, March 19 (Itar-Tass) -- Russia's state-run Rostechnologii
continues negotiations with Japan's Nissan on joint projects,
Rostechnologii report referring to its Director General Sergei Chemezov.
The corporation "is very much concerned and understands the situation
in Japan," the report reads. At the same time it "continues working
contacts with Japanese partners, including the Nissan concern, and
continue negotiations on joint projects."
Rostechnologii together with Renault-Nissan are shareholders of
AVTOVAZ. Nissan opened a plant in St Petersburg and may open another one
in russia's Far East, Prime-Tass reports.
Earlier, foreign media said the events in Japan had stopped talks
between AVTOVAZ' shareholders and the Renault-Nissan alliance.
