MOSCOW, March 19 (Itar-Tass) -- Over 2011, Russia will allocate for
the programme to support Abkhazia three billion roubles, Russia's Minister of Regional Development Viktor Basargin told the third Russia - Abkhazia intergovernmental commission on cooperation on Friday.
"We shall allocate three billion roubles," he said. "The supports
programme is for three years from 2010 through to 2012, and the total
amount for the three years will make about eleven billion roubles."
His deputy, Alexei Panov said that "the documents for the first
tranche to Abkhazia are ready, and the amount will make 880 million
roubles."
"Out of three billion roubles transferred in 2010, we have invested
slightly over one billion roubles and financed 1.8 billion roubles,"
Abkhazia's Minister of Economy Kristina Ozgan said. This means the
remaining 1.2 billion roubles will be used over 2011. "This year we plan
to spend three billion roubles of the new money and 1.2 billion from last year."
