The Azerbaijani Embassy in Libya has taken all necessary measures to ensure the safety of its employees for possible entering of NATO international forces to the country, Azerbaijani Ambassador to Libya Agaselim Shukurov told Trend.
The embassy normally continues working. There is no need to evacuate the embassy staff, the ambassador said over phone from Tripoli.
The situation is under control in Tripoli. There is no tension, the diplomat said.
The Azerbaijani embassy evacuated 35 citizens temporarily living and studying in this country when the situation deteriorated in Libya.
The positions of Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi will be hit for a few hours, the Agence France-Presse said citing the statement of the official representative of the French government Francois Baroin.

Protest actions in the Libyan provinces demanding resignation of Gaddafi, who has been ruling the country for more than 40 years, and all senior officials have been continuing since Feb. 15. The country's authorities suppressed the demonstration. According to international organizations, clashes with security forces and foreign mercenaries killed about 6,000 people. Gaddafi said that the army is fighting with the bandits who terrorize the population, RIA Novosti reported.
The UN Security Council adopted a resolution on March 17. It provides for closing airspace for Libyan avaiation, possible military actions without the use of ground forces, as well as freezing the assets of the national oil company of Libya and its central bank.
