G.ZANDANSHATAR MEETS AMBASSADORS
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ The Minister of Foreign Affairs G.Zandanshatar met Thursday ambassadors of Ukraine, Malaysia, and the EU to Mongolia.
The firts one to meet with Zandanshatar was the ambassador of Ukraine Mr. Yurii Kostenko. He has arrived to agree with the Mongolia side on two dates--of the official visit of Mongolia's President to Ukraine and of meeting of the Mongolia-Ukraine inter-governmental commission.
At the meeting with Mr. Marcus Ederer, the EU's ambassador, views were shared on the Mongolia-EU relations and cooperation.
The Foreign Minister has congratulated Mr. Datuk Iskandar Sarudin on becoming a new ambassador to Mongolia. Mentioning that the Mongolia-Malaysia relations have been developing sustainably from 1990, G.Zandanshatar has underlined the mutual visits of two Prime Ministers have significantly contributed to the bilateral cooperation. Mentioniong that the delay in settling a criminal case of murdering a Mongolian woman in Malaysia causes him a "deep sadness", Zandanshatar has hoped that the Malaysian side will intensify a trial in respect of a claim from the victim's side and will fairly solve this case. He has requested the ambassador to pay a special attention to this matter.
The Minister has emphasized the Mongolian side wants to boost the bilateral ties and to run active cooperation in the fields of trade, economics, and investment. He has pointed out that presentation of the diplomatic credentials of the Malaysian ambassador is an expression of Malaysia's softening present situation in the relations and forwarding them in respect of interests of the two countries' people.
