Clerics discuss general situation in Iraq, demonstrations

Baghdad (NINA) – Clerics, Sheikh Mohammed Isshaq Al Fayyadh and Sheikh Qasim Al Tae, discussed general political situation in Iraq, especially the demonstrations that swept a number of provinces.
A statement issued by Tae’s office said “Sheikh Qasim visited Fayyadh in his office after his return from abroad for treatment; both sides discussed the demonstrations in some provinces. Fayyadh declared that these demonstrations are acceptable as long as they are peaceful.”
The statement added “Sheikh Tae renewed his support to the demonstrators, calling upon the government to seriously tackle the legal demands.”
