Electricity minister: this summer is to be hard on the citizen
Baghdad (NINA) – Electricity minister, Raad Shalal, said “providing electricity is not going to be in the required level in the coming summer.”
In a joint press statement with the parliamentary oil and energy committee, Shalal added “the coming summer is going to be hard, proving electricity is not going to be in the required level. Still, it is going to be the last bad summer in Iraq,” clarifying that 2012 summer shall witness solving the problem.
He went on to say “we ask the citizen to be patient with us only this year, God willing, the electricity crisis shall be solved next year".
