Alawi: JPL to be presented to parliament soon

Baghdad (NINA) –The Head of the White Iraqiya Slate, MP Hasan al-Alawi, pointed out “The draft of the Journalists Protection Law will be sent to the parliament for a vote on the next few days.”
He stated to (NINA) “The law became semi ready to be endorsed,” assuring that “The law should be presented to the parliament through the Parliamentary Committee of Culture and Media according to the legal procedures.”
He mentioned “This important law is postponed since two years,” noting that “The current parliament is behind the delay in endorsing the law.”
