MEETING OF MONGOLIA-CZECH JOINT COMMISSION HELD
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ The 3rd meeting of the Mongolia-Czech inter-governmental joint commission on trade, ecnomics, sciences and technical cooperation was held March 14-15, 2011 in Prague, the Czech Republic.
The meeting has been co-chaired by Mr. T.Purevdorj, Mongolia's Vice Minister of Road, Transportation, Construction and Urban Development, and by Mr. Milan Hovorka, the Czech Vice Minister of Industry and Trade.
A forum ran in frames of the meeting of Mongolian and Czech business people March 14. During the both meeting and the forum, the sides have spoken about situation in politics, trade and economics and perspectives. They have concluded the present level of the Mongolia-Czech relations and cooperation, and shared views on improving effectiveness of the developmental assistance. In addition, the Czech side has promised to support Mongolia in introducing the European Union's (EU) standards and to develop collaboration in it.
The Mongolia-Czech business meeting has been opened by T.Purevdorj and Hovorka. Representatives of the Ministry of Road, Transportation, Construction and Urban Development, Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Light Industry, and Foreign Investment and Foreign Trade Agency of Mongolia have made presentations.
During the forum, a memorandum was signed between Mongolia's Association of Auto Road and the Czech "Arides" company to cooperate in the construction sector.
As result of the meeting, the sides have signed March 15 a protocol on further cooperation.
