Thais in Bahrain warned to stay away from protest sites

BANGKOK, March 16 (TNA) - The Thai Ministry of Foreign Affairs warned Thai people in Bahrain on Wednesday to avoid sites of protests in the Gulf state.

According to the official warning, protests have turned more violent in Bahrain and might affect the safety of Thai people there.

The ministry also warned Thai nationals not to visit Bahrain at the moment unless it is absolutely necessary. (TNA)
